- james havell Review added: 2018.01.26★ ★ ★ ★ ★Today we attended our 1-day cheese making course with Mandy. On arrival at 10am and we got started with the intro. Mandy has the day mapped out so as to fit in as much hands on cheese making as poss. The day starts with a comprehensive talk about the history, theory and practicalities of making cheese in your own home. After this we donned our aprons and got straight on with task in hand. Mandy's extensive knowledge and experience is apparent throughout the whole day. The course consisted of the practical making of 5 cheeses, with a fully prepared delicious meal at lunchtime served with wine. Mandy is a great cook and teacher and has a great way of making you feel at ease. Whether you are looking for a fun-packed day or a course where you are able to learn a new skill, then this course is definitely for you. I would highly recommend this course to people of any age, from beginners to advanced cooks.
